Inner Strength: The Building Block Of The Individual

Marie Curie once wrote, “Life doesn’t always go as planned.” What about that? You must be patient and have confidence in yourself. We must believe in our gifts and strive to achieve them. I define inner strength as the ability to take responsibility for your actions, have substantial willpower, know your values, and persevere in achieving them. Inner strength can be defined as a combination of many different qualities. There are many qualities that make up inner strength, including courage, self-confidence, and consistency. These are the three main points I will be focusing on in my paper.

You must be able to stick to a routine or do the same thing over and over again without much variation. This is the foundation of inner strength. Without consistency, all other qualities are useless. You can’t achieve your goals efficiently and effectively if you don’t have consistency. Jimmy Santiago Baca wrote “I Am Offering this Poem”. He is consistent in his repetitions, saying “I Love You” after each paragraph to communicate to the reader that he truly loves them. My life is full of consistency. I often ask my girlfriend for brownies because she loves it. Bravery is showing courage when faced with danger. It is not fearlessness, as some people mistakenly believe. It can also help you persevere in difficult situations. Bravery is a crucial part of inner resilience. By facing your fears and conquering them, you become stronger and more confident. You cannot grow and experience new things if you don’t face your fears. Jackie Robinson, in the movie 42, is a great example. Although he was often harassed and bullied, he never gave up and continued to fight for his rights. He was not afraid to confront the obstacles in his path. My first experience on a roller coaster was terrifying. However, I was determined to conquer my fear and enjoy them.

Self-confidence can best be described as confidence in your capabilities and yourself. Many people struggle with it. This is an important quality in inner strength. It allows you to be more comfortable speaking up before others and joining the school play. Gwendolyn Broughs writes “Life for My Child: Simple, Good, and Infallible” explaining that he had self-confidence and wasn’t afraid to succeed, even though it was not always possible. When I asked my girlfriend out, I was confident in myself. At first I was afraid to ask her out, but I ended up getting her. It was a good thing that I believed in myself.

Inner strength, which is an undercover motivator, can be summarized as self-confidence and bravery. Inner strength allows you to make decisions and follow them through, to be consistent, and to feel great about yourself. People would be unable to make progress in their lives without it. Without it, everyone would remain stuck. It is inner strength that I believe makes people persevere even when others are giving up. This strength is what I consider the foundation of success. These qualities are the building blocks of an individual.
